Each design concept is focused on how it can ultimately advance fashion and evoke modernity and innovation rather than reflect clothing styles of the past. A fresh input on construction and silhouettes is done in a way to leave a memorable impact on the viewer. “Sophia L. Scinto” revolves around the aesthetic of a high-functioning, interchangeable, connected, and intelligent perception of fashion. Our collection pieces are carefully handmade and handcrafted with dedication and love from start to finish.

ABOUT the designer

My name is Sophia L. Scinto. I am a passionate, visionary creative who has always had a love for expressing myself through fashion and artwork.

I am from Fairfield, CT and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology. This journey all began at the age of 11 when I had a bright orange binder with my initials “SLS” scribbled on the front. I would use scraps of fabric and draw little design sketches of whatever I’d imagined. In seventh grade when I received my very first sewing machine, the passion sparked from there on.

I’ve always valued the importance of feeling confident in your own skin. I am a true believer that regardless of your size, gender, etc. you are allowed to wear what you want, even if that means going against the grain… and OWN IT. My designs stand out from typical day-to-day wear so it is for those whose style is adventurous and bold. Be different from the crowd and embrace it!
